It’s Tuesday and the bathroom renovation company has unfortunately not been able to bring my emergency repair appointment forward. As a result, I’ve now not been able to shower for two days in a row which is an absolute nightmare for me. I look like I’ve aged ten years overnight. My eyes are droopy, I’ve lost my usual glow and I feel horrible. I am so tired that I may as well be a zombie at this point. It’s also really impacting my mental health because showering in the morning is such a big part of my routine, that without it, I feel lost and confused.
If you missed my last blog post, the reason I haven’t been able to shower for the last two days is that I’m getting a new bathroom renovation company to come in and fix some issues with my bathroom. I had this dream for a perfect ensuite renovation which hasn’t panned out the way it should be. I’m hoping this new company will come in and do a much better job. I was really impressed with the way they designed previous ensuites, which is why I linked them above. Their pictures are much more in line with what I had imagined. And the showers they install actually work! This is much more than I can say for the other bathroom renovation company that I worked with originally.
Thankfully there’s only one more day until the local bathroom designers operating in the Melbourne area come to my house. They said they should have all the repairs done within the working day, which means I can shower to my heart’s content tomorrow night and wake myself up with a morning shower on Thursday. God, I can’t even tell you how much I’m looking forward to that morning shower. I can’t shower tomorrow morning which means that will be three days in a row without my ritual. It’s been tough.
